Adults Only....

Between November 30 and December 16 my family has five birthdays - ALL ADULTS!!! So this year we decided to plan an Adults Only night to celebrate them. It was fantastic and I think should be an annual tradition. We went to Texas Roadhouse. The food is really good, but the rolls are scrumptious. I could go for just those and be happy. They come with some cinnamon butter which I didn't want to try, but when I did I was hooked on them even more. It was nice to be able to be withmy family and not have to worry about the kids (we had a very reliable babysitter).

For birthdays they bring out some ice cream with hot fudge and have the birthday person sit on the saddle while the restaurant gives a great big Texas "yee-haw". It was my brother-in-law's actual birthday, but he wouldn't get on. I was the next easiest out of my seat so I took the opportunity to make a fool of myself.

I must have been a little more embarrassed than I remember. My face is all red. Oh well, it was fun.

After dinner we went back to my parents' house for some games and fun.

We had a little surprise celebration for Mom and Dad. THEY PAID OFF THEIR HOUSE!! Congratulations Mom and Dad. We are all really happy for you.
