9 months....ALREADY?!

Seriously...9 months? Can you believe it?

Miles has been an absolute gem. He's been sick the last couple weeks (along with the rest of us) which means he hasn't been as happy as he usually is, but he is getting over that and I have my HAPPY BABY back. There's absolutely nothing better than his huge grin.

What is it with babies and CD's?

He's crawling and like every other baby he's getting into anything and everything he can.

It always seems like I go a couple weeks without blogging (but having things I want to put on the blog) because I have so much other stuff going on. Which means I always have some random stuff. Here's this weeks....

We got a new recipe, Cake Balls, that all of us love really like. this week I shaped them into footballs in honor of the Superbowl. They turned out so cute!! It was taking a little longer than normal, so we only did 8, but those eight were sure cute.

And I just thought Evan's Frog Valentine box/bag was so cute I had to show a picture of it. We worked together on it and he was proud of it. I have to say I was, too.

Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

Last Friday, Feb 5, there was a Daddy Daughter Dance put on by the city. Last year we invited all the cousins and uncles to come along. I think it has since become somewhat of a tradition.

Sara thought kissing her dad on the cheek for a picture was kind of silly.

Kamri was happy to have Grandpa as her date. This year was the perfect amount of girls and men (dads, grandpa, and uncle) to pair up.

We've also kind of made it a tradition to get the girls corsages, too. They think they're fun even though Kamri didn't want to wear hers. They were so excited and looked forward to it all week.

Ben doesn't like to take pictures at events. He likes to just enjoy the moment (I agree although I can't seem to do without pictures) so we don't have any from the actual event or with all the cousins, but Sara and Kamri loved their face paintings. They waited in line for 45 minutes. Good for Ben. I never would have.

Yep, she is now 3!!!

Thursday was her birthday. She keeps talking about how she's 3 and can go to school now.

We had a very low-key birthday celebration, which was fun. We just had cake and presents then went to Dad's basketball game. For two weeks before her birthday I kept asking her what she wanted for her birthday dinner. She ALWAYS replied, "I don't want dinner for my birthday" very matter-of-factly. Which is exactly like her. She doesn't usually enjoy eating dinner. So we just had frozen pizza (which she does like to eat).

We gave her this life-size doll. She carries it around everywhere. We have even buckled her doll into the seat in the car.

We always say it's a good thing she's cute because if she weren't she would drive up absolutely crazy. She is a joy and makes us laugh everyday.

Happy Birthday Kamri!! We love you.
