dinosaur museum

Ben's MBS program treated us to a luncheon and a day at the Dinosaur Museum so we took advantage and used that day for a day out together.  I didn't take pictures of the nice lunch they served before but it was a nice meal.  Our kids didn't eat much of it, but we did feed them  a little beforehand because we figured that might be the case and we didn't want hungry, grumpy kids all day.

Then we spent an hour or two in the museum.  The kids liked it and it was nice to get out.

Haircuts...

This is the only way we can get haircuts done around here.  

Stick them in front of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.....

and Asia in her highchair with something to eat.

Then of course baths afterward.  I love that Sara is old enough and likes to give the younger kids a bath.  It helps out soooo much.  

But, then of course she gets the reward of clean, wet baby snuggle time afterward.  It's a bittersweet thing.  I love the rare occasions when my babies will actually cuddle but some days it's worth giving it up to have Sara bathe them.

First Pinewood Derby

Evan's first Pinewood Derby was a couple weeks ago.  He was so excited to be a part of it.  He had so much fun painting his car and couldn't wait to get started.

Asia was super excited to be there...NOT!!  But I used the camera and pictures of herself to keep her entertained.

He got the award for "Most Inspirational Car".

He had fun but is also hoping we have a bit more time next year to spend making his car awesome!!

First hike of the season....
