For a long time now I've been wanting to make my own laundry soap. But for some reason I just couldn't get around to it. Then Cassie mentioned she wanted to as well so we decided to do it together. It still took a while but when my soap ran out I decided we were going to make it before I just went and bought some. It was actually kind of fun to make something like that and I think it cleaned my clothes pretty well. We measure it out and did the math and for the stuff we used it shoudl be about 6 cents a load. Not too bad. Here's the link to the recipe we used.

Evan in the kitchen
I'm not very good at letting the kids help in the kitchen. It's so much faster if I just do it myself. But, I know I need to let them so I've been trying really hard. Sara often makes pancakes for breakfast all by herself. Evan wanted to learn how to make something and he chose brownies as his first project. He did really well. He did it pretty much all by himself. He was too nervous to crack the eggs by himself so I did that, but everything else he did. They tasted quite good too.

Sleeping kids are one of my favorite things. They just look so sweet (not to mention they're not making any noise).
Another tired Sunday afternoon
We went to my nephew's basketball game. Miles was loving it!!

My parents' setting apart...
It was a couple weeks ago now, but the blessings my parents got at their setting apart were amazing. The Stake President touched on everything and more my parents have been worried about.
Aren't these kids cute?

Ice Cream in Provo
When my parents were in the MTC my siblings and I drove down one night to meet them for ice cream at the creamery. It's so nice the rules for senior missionaries are so different.
Don't they look so cool with their nametags on?
Trista, Trina, and I had to go pick up a computer from them afterward and my mom had us come in to see their room. I have never been one for breaking rules (no surprise there from anyone) and that hasn't changed at all since I've gotten older. This was no exception. I was nervous the whole time - RIDICULOUS!
It was a great night!!
