Young Artist Competition

Last weekend Sara participated in a Young Artist Competition.  She played for two judges on Friday afternoon.  Just went in and played and then left.  She was told that if she was a finalist they would call her that night before 6:00 to let her know and she would need to be available to play at an Honors Recital Saturday night and claim her prize.

The phone rang at 5:30 and we both sort of smiled hoping it was them.  It was!  She had made the top three and would need to be at the recital to play, get her prize, and find out what place she got.

She got 3rd place!!  Last year she competed and didn't place or get an Honorable Mention so she was super excited.  She got a cool medal and a $20 check.  This was the first time she got a cash prize.  Pretty sweet!

Blessing

Asia had her blessing on Sunday, November 6.  Ben gave the most amazing blessing.  He always gives great ones and they just seem to get better.  

She got to wear the dress I was blessed in 31 years ago.  My parents found it just a few days before she was born.  I had no idea they still had it and I was so excited to get to pass it on to her.  She looked beautiful in it. I always love baby blessings.  There's just something about them that makes me happy.

 Almost all of my family was able to be there. My sister and her husband were stuck in the emergency room with their son.  We missed you Cameo and Jeremy.

Here we are.  I'm sure the bishop loved the number we added to the count in Sacrament meeting.  

two months old

SHE'S TWO MONTHS!!

  I can't believe she's two months already.  

She's grown so big.  If you click here you can compare this to her one-month picture.  She's gotten bigger than the bear and filled out a bit.  She's still as sweet as ever, maybe more. We all adore her.

I took her to the doctor today.  She is now....

11 lbs. 13 oz.

23.9 in

She's gained over 3 pounds and grown 2 inches in the last month and a half.  She sure loves to eat.  I feel like I'm feeding her ALL DAY LONG.

Can't get enough of her.

Miles' first dentist appointment

He was so brave and the office was so good at making sure he was comfortable.  They have TV screens on the ceiling so the kids can watch a movie while they're laying there.  You could tell he was a little bit nervous and I thought I was going to have to deal with a screaming 2-year-old but he actually let them clean his teeth and everything.  At Kamri's first visit they were only able to count her teeth.

 He was loving his new toothbrush.
