We spent New Years Eve with Ben's brother, Richard, and his family who were in town from Arizona. Their family is always nice enough to welcome us into their family celebrations.

nativity
And we've been busy painting a nativity set. The kids each got three pieces to paint and entertained themselves for quite some time.
My mom and dad got all the granddaughters matching tops for Christmas. I thought they were super cute.
Christmas day...
The kids woke up at 7:30 (except for Miles who wanted to wake up at 6:30 or so) but our Christmas breakfast of cinnamon rolls weren't done yet so we chilled in bed with daddy for a little bit.
Cinnamon rolls were finally done so we got to finally eat them.

We got to have Grandma join us for Christmas morning this year

I made Kamri a tutu but she didn't want to put it on so I placed it on her head and snapped a quick picture
Miles wasn't too interested in the presents - or the paper. He mostly just ran away when we tried to get himn to open something. But I did get one of him sort of opening a present.
Then we just spent the morning relaxing and enjoying for a couple hours before we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's.
In his stocking, Evan got two Monster trucks that he had to build. I had fun helping him.
Sara read us some stories
I finally got Kamri to put her tutu on. But it only stayed on for the picture and she won't put it on. Maybe she'll grow to like it (she better, it took me forever to make). If not, anyone want a tutu?
This was Christmas night after we got home from my parents'. He fell asleep in the car and didn't even wak up when we moved him to the couch. He was tuckered out.
