5-months-old!!

Wow!  She's 5-months-old.  And still as sweet and calm as the day she was born.

She started rolling over on Saturday.  I put her down and she immediately rolled.  One more milestone down.

Seriously!  Our little photo shoot was too cute to now share all of them.

Evan's basketball

Evan's been playing basketball for the last couple months.  He loves it.  He has a lot of fun.  I'm not sure how much he is actually learning because he's still in the age of no steals and no calling travel or double dribbling.  But he's having fun and that's all that matters, right?

Daddy Daughter Dance

Friday was the traditional Daddy Daughter Dance put on by our city.  My girls look forward to this all year. They love going on dates with dad and having Grandpa or an uncle tag along as a date as well.  This year professional ball room dancers were brought in to give some free dance lessons.  They spent the majority of the night learning the Tango, Salsa, Cha-cha, and Waltz.  They came home all giggles and smiles showing off their new dance moves.

This was Kamri's first year with Ben as her date
Uncle Jeremy came to be Sara's date this year.  This was her first year going with someone other than Dad and she was so funny about it.  After he left she said, "I hope he had a good time."  She makes me laugh.

Homemade Fruit Roll-ups

I made strawberry fruit roll up the other day.  The were actually really good.  But that process will be saved for very special/rare occasions. It was actually really easy but very time consuming.  You're supposed to have it int the oven on a VERY low temperature for 6-8 hours (more if needed) to dry it out with the door ajar. Which means I can't do it when the kids are running around or when I need to oven for dinner or lunch.  When it's warmer I can put them outside in the sun to dry out instead of the oven.  Maybe I'll make them more often during the summer.

The kids loved them and the best part was that all it is is strawberries, a little bit of water, and a touch of lemon juice.  Pure and simple!!

Let's clean

Ben was out of town last weekend.  He spent the weekend in DC with some friends.  The kids were so good on Saturday.  They decided to help all on their own and started cleaning the bathroom.  I found out later they had made a "plan" the night before while they were in bed.  They were going to get up, get dressed, read their scriptures, say their prayers, and then clean the bathroom.  Sara's the only one that stuck with the whole plan, but the rest of them did help clean the bathroom.  They cleaned everything - tub, toilet, floors, counter, sink.  It was so nice to see!!

Best Friends

I had just finished changing Asia's diaper so she was laying on the floor.  Miles came and laid down next to her and said, "This my best friend."
