This past weekend, we went up to Bear Lake for an Allen Family reunion (my side). We rented a cabin which held all 30+ of us Lombardi's. Yes, with that many people sitting around in one cabin, it was hectic and chaotic at times. Especially when we had my mom's brother and wife and kids and spouses and grandkids join us for dinner - that was loud. It was a fun weekend filled with lots of activities (and pictures).

Anna (2nd cousin) Leona (cousin) Sara
My kids got to meet some of their second cousins. My cousin, Tera, lives in Brunei (in Asia) with her husband and 6 kids. Her last 4 are all the same ages as mine and the same gender. We decided Sara and her daughter, Anna, should be pen pals. I think it would be good for Sara to learn a little about life in Brunei for an 8-year-old.
They had a porch swing that occupied a lot of the kids' time
Miles spent lots of time crawling around. He finally had open space all day. Much bigger than our little apartment.

Who else thinks America's Funniest videos is one of the stupidest
shows? I do.
But the kids were laughing and having a great time
watching it.
Just chilling eating dinner. The two blonde boys that are not Evan are more second cousins from Brunei - Nathan and Tyler.
Like I said, it was a little cramped for sleeping arrangements. There was one big room upstairs with a HUGE closet. So the first night we had the boys cousins sleep in the closet on air mattresses.

Sara and Leona got to share the huge King size bed. How is that fair?
Kamri wasn't falling asleep so we pulled her out of the cousin room (yes, we're mean) and moved her downstairs to our room. I guess she didn't like that much because when we went downstairs we found her in the hallway next to the door asleep like this...It was so cute.
My brother entertained us trying to trick us as to which cup the chapstick lid was under. It doesn't work so well with plastic cups.
The next morning we went swimming. The water was cold.
I really should get my kids in swimming lessons to learn how to swim. Swimming would be lots more fun.
This was as far as Miles would let me get in. This was his first time going swimming and with the cold water, he didn't like it.
