This week's update...

Since our computer is so slow, I do lots of updates. Sorry....
This week was Sara's turn to go out on her date with daddy. She chose to go to the playground to show him how she could do the monkey bars. It was cold, but they braved it and had lots of fun. After Ben took her to the store to get a treat.

The kids and Ben love to play outside. So they went out to play football. I went out there just long enough to get some video and pictures. That's about as much as I could stand.

NICE CATCH!!

TOUCHDOWN!!!
Sunday was my birthday and it was a great day. It started with bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwiches. Ben doesn't really enjoy cooking bacon so it was a sacrifice for him to make them for me. (Anyone know how to cook bacon in the microwave? That would make it a lot easier for him). That night we had our good friends over for some spaghetti and meatballs with breadsticks. They brought the cake. Elisa is the best friend ever. She made a delicious cake ( she couldn't even eat it because she doesn't eat chocolate) that mixd two of my favorite treats - chocolate cake and peppermint patties. It was soooooo yummy!!

Thanks Ben and the kids and the Smith family for helping make my birthday so fun. Also, thanks to all of you who made a comment on the blog. It made my birthday a great one!!!!

Happy Birthday--late, sorry I forgot to mention it at card club. You can cook bacon in the microwave. They actually have these bacon microwave plate things you can get (they drain the grease better) or you can just put some paper towels on the plate, put the bacon down and then another paper towel. You cook it about 1 minute per piece of bacon. Let me know if you try it!
